Important points from the AGM

13 Oct 2016 by Nikki Wilesmith

Some important points from the AGM last night. There is a fair bit of information, so please take your time to read.

• Batlow at the RSL Club – 11am to 12:30pm
• Tumbarumba at the Sportsground (AFL Oval) from 2pm. There will be hotdogs, drinks & games.
Portable eftpos will be available at both locations.

Playnrl.com
🏈Registration Fees for 2017 are as follows:

2nd child: $40
3rd child: $20
4th or more child: FREE
Included in your fees are: Registration & insurance for the 2017 season, training shirt & playing shorts & socks.
Payment cannot be made online when you register, so it’s important to come to Registration Day to pay & receive your apparel. NO APPAREL WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID IN FULL.
🏈Anyone wishing to coach a minor league team in 2017 must apply in writing. Your application needs to include which team/s you would like to coach in order of preference & any relevant experience.
Your application will need to be worthier handed to myself at enerQi or posted to:
The Secretary
Tumba-Batlow Minor League
PO BOX 265
Tumbarumba, NSW 2653
🏈very shortly we will have a date for a street stall to be held before Christmas. We will need as much help as possible please to either sit on the stall or donate cooking.
🏈At the Tumbarumba-Batlow Minor League committee meeting held last night, the issue of a two town club was discussed. The facts are that over the last 2 seasons, players & volunteers from Batlow have dramatically decreased and in the 2016 season there were a handful of players & only one couple who assisted as coach/manager. We can’t continue to ask Tumbarumba families to travel to Batlow for so few players and volunteers. In 2017 we will be taking Registration Day & two home games to Batlow and we will still be Tumbarumba-Batlow Minor League. However, if numbers of volunteers and players don’t substantially improve in 2017 a motion has been moved to return the club to Tumbarumba Minor League after a review at the clubs AGM in October 2017.
Any concerns from concerned members should be directed to a committee member.
