The business was started in 1990 by Andrew Damme and Michael Batkin. In 2002 Andrew and Kester Damme took full control of the business.
Since then, Andrew and Kester have continued to grow the business and today operate the biggest smash repairs business, with the latest equipment and technology, in Wagga Wagga and district.
They employ 18 people in various trades and positions and average 30 jobs a week through the workshop.
Four years ago they purchased an adjoining block of land next to their Cheshire Street headquarters and in 2007 completed construction of a 1280sqm panel shop, taking their total floor space to 2030sqm – almost tripling their workshop and administration area.
It is this vision and confidence in the industry which ensures Batkin & Damme will remain one of the industry leaders, not only in regional New South Wales, but across Australia.
